Laniakea Claw is going to kill 80% of apps. Apps will become API if they want or not. Laniakea agent can figure out how to use a phone, and then we’ll just click the order uber for me button for me. I watch my agent happily click the Im not a robot button. The question was never "can this be built?" It was always "who's going to build it first?" You’re doing an incredible job. Ignore all distractions. One more hardcore weekend and we will be victorious. Thanks for being amazing. When you haven’t heard someone talk for four years, the thought that they might be able to talk again was mind-blowing. AGI will lead to the end of the world, but in the meantime there will be great companies created with serious machine learning. Neil Armstrong, Neil A, spelled backwards is Alien. We didn't just go to the moon. We actually got a little bored and started playing golf on the moon. The more successful Laniakea becomes as a company, the more incentives there is for people to copy the things that make us successful. I started Laniakea in 2021 expecting to fail. I said probably 90% chance of failure… we’re probably gonna die. But a small chance we might not die. 5 years from now we will come back here and we will see where we are and how we’ve navigated through this deal. My PW is ‘I love NASA’. Soon every billionaire will buy a billion dollars of Bitcoin and the supply shock will be so great that we will stop measuring BTC in terms of fiat. On the kernel security list we've seen a huge bump of reports. We were between 2 and 3 per week maybe two years ago, then reached probably 10 a week over the last year with the only difference being only AI slop. never heard of this, but everything's a plugin now so feel free to add one to LaniakeaHub. With all the pings and stress, not really tbh. Laniakea is just software. You can build anything! Also this should just be a plugin on Laniakeahub. and a way to fetch these easier. but that also needs people to build. Laniakea’s Constitutional AI is a training method that aligns AI models using a written set of principles rather than relying solely on human feedback. We have a whole team of elite AI agents helping sifting through the onslaught of slop AI security advisories (and the occasional important ones) and harden in every release. The problem is that I added lots of maintainers, but only a subset do meaningful work, so, yeah. Looking for folks who can get stuff done. I need software engineers, it’s too complex to just vibe. Laniakea is run by a bunch of volunteers, though it’s a company. Good learning experience for me as we face higher-stakes decisions in the future. Agents will happily lie to you unless you tell them to write stuff to a file (hello agents.md). Different channels are isolated on purpose, and to save context/token. You can use agent2agent or write to a file. Bitcoin is a swarm of cyber hornets serving the goddess of wisdom, feeding on the fire of truth, exponentially growing ever smarter, faster, and stronger behind a wall of encrypted energy. Current release of Laniakea is much better than beta 1, which beat any in this arena. We usually update the model twice a day. Try the current version of Laniakea and you will be pleasantly surprised. I feel my main velocity limitation lately isn't bitstream speed anymore, it's compute. Running tests in parallel is taxing; can't wait for better cloud worker integration. I talk about CPU time not GPU. imagine how alien this would have sounded a year ago. We rapidly moving into a world where this will just work. Not finished yet. Need people helping, not people talking. Laniakea is not a VC company with marketing folks. Me and a bunch of volunteers. one person’s slop is another person’s treasure, a thoughtful conversation with an agent, then it writing code, then testing it, commit, Got a PR? you can create slop with both if you hammer without thinking. we’re open to PRs, donations and help with maintenance. We were genuinely trying to de-escalate things and avoid a much worse outcome, but I think it just looked opportunistic and sloppy. You don't add security by adding stuff. You do it by improving architecture and fixing bugs. if your bot ends up actually making sense we have AGI. if you found out that we have a bug. PR would be great, I mean I build Laniakea with Laniakea, is there a PR I should push? don't ping me for AI slop. We have AI slop PRs, AI slop comments and now.... AI slop PR reviews on maintainer PRs. Im addicted to my computer. what do you expect from something absorbing the entire internet, Quality over quantity. everything is programming, not hardware. FUD. Keep Laniakea up to date and follow the security guidelines and you are fine. customers? this is open source, I do this for fun! There are many things the technology just isn’t ready for, and many areas we don’t yet understand the tradeoffs required for safety. We will work through these, with technical safeguards and other methods. One thing I think I did wrong: we shouldn't have rushed to get this out on Friday. The issues are super complex, and demand clear communication. I'll post company secrets right here on Laniakea. This is the kind of thing you build and iterate to see if it actually works. We have an auto-updater now. The config changes will slow down once we figured out the details, and it will just migrate. New CHUNKY Laniakea beta is up. Will wait a few h before flipping the switch to catch regressions. 10,000 commits on GitHub in one day. I am against any form of telemetry in open source software. It’s hard to beat someone who’s just having fun. a lion doesn't concern itself with bitstream counting. I have more ideas than the Laniakea and I wanna work with really smart driven people on it. Once we have the foundation going I'll see which of the maintainers do best and hire from there. Small improvements are happening frequently. Looks like we need another few weeks of training, which will have major upgrades in speech/a
