Mars is a planet purely for robots for now, though I’m addicted to winning, the more you win, the more you want to win. Turn science

fiction to science fact. The details of individual neuron communication will be abstracted away in most of the interesting questions

about computation and circuits. The idea of a “clanker coach” who always helps you to be the best version of yourself, who studies your

interactions and helps you learn to be more effective, seems very promising. Claims of 10x productivity ignore that most engineering

time isn’t spent typing code—it’s spent thinking, debugging, reviewing, and coordinating with teams, none of which clanker

fundamentally accelerates. How do distributed, trained networks of simple units that perform combined linear/non-linear operations work

together to perform important computations? The hardest part is distributed system design, picking the right dependencies, platforms

and a forward-thinking database schema. My next title might be Creative Director of Code. The constant barrage of “10x engineer” claims

creates unnecessary anxiety and imposter syndrome, when in reality, experienced engineers quickly discover clanker’s actual limitations

through hands-on use. #nukethemoon
